Weekly Issue 18Feb2011 - Forensic is back !

Dear agents,

I've been quite busy these days and hardly find time to write and research something about GT, but hopefully from now on I can steadily write something weekly.

And sorry for the long wait, I'll continue the "All About Companion" series as soon as possible.

So let's start with some recent updates/news since my last post :

-> Deaugmentator now costs 300 badges  instead of 200 (oh man it hurts !)

-> Now we have some new possible augmentations, which are -3 monsterslayer, +3% Purify, and new Loot Hunter : Jurassic Plasma (+1), Screaming Strawberry (+3), and Lucid Lemonade (+3)

-> We just have experienced Valentine day with the arrival of Valentine ghost which drops SSP and also the new buffed little cupid (from $20 donation). Behold, the new king of midnight attraction (10%) !!

-> Now to the main issue. Forensic ghost, as I've mentioned in my previoust post here, didn't drop CCF. But it turns out after the lastest forensic thread here, an agent reported it to the Dev and they managed to make Forensic drops the CCF again. This is a post from a friend of mine just after the fix

You have successfully trapped a Forensic ghost. The reward for this ghost is 4370 £ and 963 experience points. Furthermore, this ghost dropped some loot:

1 x Chrono Crystal fragment

Now this is a quite important update that you need to know. Currently, some people prefer hunting CCF in Count Church (from Poltergeist and Viking) since only Stagecoach who is the only ghost that practically drops the fragments in Morgue. But as what it is now, Kirkyard Morgue will be your CCF warehouse, especially if you're farming for Chrono Dragon Whelp =)

Forensic is back with the CCF !

Let me share a great 2 min setup for CCF hunting in Morgue :

Scarecrow - Neon Light - Nightcap - Spider (or special) - SHQ - MCC - Cosmic/Devoted ID (or chance Cosmic to Twilight if using special spider)

This setup is better than DM - LS, since you don't need to put an anti-burner / ghost puzzler in your setup while having the same cooldown. Don't forget you also get the "Silver Rain" (50% exp) from Forensic ghost occasionaly by using Traditional trap !
