Hi GT-ers,
This week I decide to start writing short update about some rumors that have been straying in GT community, some tips that might be proven useful for you, or maybe some issues that I haven't been able to understand yet (and you might experience similar thing, so you're very welcome to share).
Firstly, about Forensic Ghost.
He's available to hunt at both Kirkyard Morgue and Crypt. He's also vulnerable to traditional mechanism (silver rain) so you can possibly gain more exp if you have Danse Macabre on your setup. But the real issue is about the drop. Wiki said he's giving out CCF and Mixers (Kreepy Koko/Widow Tears), while this info somehow has been controversial nowadays. Some people already complained in the forum and I decided to research about this issue.
To be sure, I've been collecting data over 200 caught Forensic and I found out that he dropped no loot at all ! You might say that the probability is small, but his midnight counterpart REALLY DOES drop both CCF and Mixers (and in a considerable amount), so I assumed that the fact is somehow Forensic won't drop anything at all in the meantime. So for anyone hunting CCF in Morgue, you might want to limit your hope only to Stagecoach ghosts (or using some midnight attraction to attract Dark Defender ghost)
The other one is about Heartbreaking Temptress Ghost.
In order to finish my Kiss collection, I still need two more kisses (Pink & Green) from the temptress. Now, the issue I want to bring up is "Why is it easier to encounter her at MIDNIGHT time ?". My data in Castle McKenny (R2.4) shows that I attract 3 out of 180 on daytime (with DD+1), while on midnight I attracted 4 out of 40 (with DD+2) ! The additional attraction might be useful, but shouldn't be very significant and of course I've seen this anomaly happening while hunting RickRoll ghost (which unfortunately isn't included in my current data).
Therefore, I open the room for discussion whether any of you are also experiencing the same issue (just comment below if you want to share something)

Though I'm not backed up with a lot of data, I personally believe that party ghosts are more frequently encountered at night (not necessarily midnight). I was using DD+1 to hunt Ghost DJ last night as well as this morning, but while the encounter rate is around 1 every 6 ghosts, in the morning I got NONE. Both are using 150 DD, and i'm running out of DD so I couldn't have the data.. T.T

ReplyDeleteYeah i feel that too . I was capturing angel ghosts for china plate actually . Thought the loot chance is better during midnight . Using nessy during midnight , caught around 8 vain temptress . Not sexy , its vain .
ReplyDeleteI can back you up on this. I have been hunting in morgue for more than a month, and have caught more than 800 forensic ghosts ever since I take note of the number, and none of them drop a single thing, so I am convinced that he doesn't drop anything, not even juices as stated in wiki.
ReplyDeleteThe same for HBT, I encounter her on average twice every midnight on total of about 28 hunts, at +3 attraction, but rarely during daytime when I hunt for loot collection.

I can confirm what the wiki says as to the forensic ghosts dropping ccfs
ReplyDeleteI have had at least two ccf drops and one mixer drop from them.
The drops are very rare though.

ReplyDeleteYou have successfully trapped a Forensic ghost. The reward for this ghost is 8686 £ and 829 experience points. Furthermore, this ghost dropped some loot:
2 x Chrono Crystal fragment (1 bonus loot)
I attract 4 rickroll in a day, 2 in daytime, 2 in midnite time (call of the malt buff is active)
ReplyDeleteat daytime i'm using TBK/WP/Cupid/TCM/Nocturnal/and any mocktail with 5% midnight attraction for a total 38% midnight attraction and only 1 bonus attraction from call of the malt buff.
at midnite time i'm using
6 bonus attraction using arcane or bio setup.
at the time i get my silverstar mini i'm using
SB/NL/EPH/Icy Dragon/Secret Agent/Black Widow/Call of the Malt

I just got my Pink Kiss after 4 months of Midnight Hunting!
ReplyDeleteI always knew that they r more prominently seen during midnight, thats y i didnt waste time hunting for her at daytime
And during the course of my hunting for Pink Kiss, I used a lot of varied setups....And in the end, I noticed that DD +2 attraction worked wonders!!!!
I attracted 5-6 every night!!!Thats awesome news for those who are still after it!!
